The Office of the Clerk and Recorder is responsible for conducting primary, general, and special elections held in the county; voter registration; recording and processing public documents; issuing and recording marriage licenses; and titling and registering of motor vehicles.

Voter Registration & Elections: From registering to vote to understanding your ballot, our office is here to assist you throughout the entire voting process. We work diligently to ensure that every election is fair, accurate, and accessible.
Public Records & Document Recording: Need to record a deed, mortgage, or other public document? We manage the official records for the county, ensuring that they are accurately stored and easily retrievable by the public.
Marriage Licenses: Thinking about tying the knot? The Clerk and Recorder's Office provides marriage licenses and ensures they are properly recorded. Our staff can guide you through the requirements and help make the process as smooth as possible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I register to vote?
You can register to vote in person by visiting the County Citizens Service Center on Marina Drive or at Centennial Hall in Paleto Bay. The State of San Andreas allows new voter registrations up until one week before the election.
What are the requirements for a marriage license?
Both parties must be present, provide valid photo identification, and meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years. The cost for a marriage license is $10 and can be paid in cash, check, or online.
How do I obtain a copy of a recorded document?
Copies of recorded documents can be requested in person. Please provide the document number or the names of the parties involved for faster processing.
