Blaine County is committed to providing a transparent and accessible election process for all its residents. Our goal is to ensure that every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in local, state, and federal elections. The Clerk and Recorder’s Office manages voter registration, absentee and early voting, and the administration of Election Day operations.
UPCOMING ELECTION DATES
Primary Election: May 6, 2025
Polls open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Early voting begins on April 22nd, 2025.
REGISTER TO VOTE
You can register to vote in person by visiting the County Citizens Service Center on Marina Drive or at Centennial Hall in Paleto Bay. The State of San Andreas allows new voter registrations on the same day as the election.
Registering to vote in Blaine County is quick and easy. You can register in the following ways:
Online: Visit our Voter Registration Portal to complete the process online. https://sos.state.sa.uscgov.com/register
In-Person: Stop by the Blaine County Citizens Service Center in Sandy Shores OR Centennial Hall in Paleto Bay.
By Mail: Download a voter registration form from our website, fill it out, and mail it to the Citizens Service Center
EARLY VOTING AND ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Early Voting: Available to all registered voters at designated early voting locations. Early voting provides a convenient option for those who cannot make it to the polls on Election Day.
Absentee Ballots: If you are unable to vote in person, you can request an absentee ballot. The application for an absentee ballot must be submitted by mail or online at least 7 days before Election Day.
ELECTION DAY INFORMATION
Polling Locations: Find your assigned polling location by entering your address into our Polling Place Locator.
What to Bring: Be sure to bring a valid photo ID when you vote. Accepted forms of identification include a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID.
Assistance at the Polls: If you need help casting your vote, poll workers are available to assist. Accessible voting machines are also provided to ensure that all voters can cast their ballots independently.
