Public Health Director

Roger Stone Miller was appointed as the Director of Public Health by the Board of County Commissioners in March of 2001

With over 20 years in this role and more than 30 years of experience in public health and epidemiology, Miller is recognized as a steadfast advocate for community health and wellness. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Known for his strategic vision and hands-on approach, Miller has been instrumental in shaping Blaine County’s public health policies and building a robust healthcare infrastructure.

Under Miller’s leadership, the Public Health Department has developed comprehensive health programs and services that address the diverse needs of Blaine County residents.
