In this second edition, we are delighted to introduce you to a key figure in our county's financial well-being: Sierra Pfeifer, our dedicated and insightful Blaine County Treasurer.

Beyond the vital responsibilities that come with managing the county's finances, Sierra is a cornerstone of her family. She is the loving wife to Eric Pfeifer and the proud mother of two wonderful children, Delilah and James. Balancing the demands of a significant public role with the joys and responsibilities of family life is a testament to Sierra's dedication and organizational prowess.

Did you know that our very own County Treasurer, Sierra Pfeifer, has some seriously cool hobbies? When she's not expertly managing Blaine County's finances, Sierra can often be found rocking out on her electric guitar, experimenting with sound production, and creating art. She's also a real outdoor enthusiast and loves to hike! This past Valentine's Day, she and her husband, Eric enjoyed a special trip to Anchorage, Alaska, likely taking in some breathtaking scenery. It's inspiring to see such a talented and multifaceted individual contributing so much to our community.

Sierra's journey to becoming Blaine County Treasurer is marked by a clear trajectory of academic achievement and professional growth. Graduating from the University of Tampa in 2015 with a degree in Accounting, provided her with the essential theoretical knowledge for her field. This was immediately followed by four years at a tax firm in Orlando, Florida, offering invaluable hands-on experience in the complexities of tax law and financial management. Achieving her CPA certification in 2016 underscores her dedication to upholding the highest professional standards, a commitment she now brings to her role serving Blaine County.
