Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Spotlight Newsletter, where we highlight some of the exceptional individuals who contribute to the success of Blaine County.

In this issue, we are proud to feature Alexis Martinez, our current Director of Technology.

In addition to her leadership role in Blaine County, Ms. Martinez is an active member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and frequently participates in technology leadership conferences. She is also deeply committed to mentoring young women in STEM through local initiatives, sharing her passion for technology and her dedication to fostering the next generation of innovators.

Renowned for her technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong commitment to community engagement, Alexis has been instrumental in transforming the Technology Department into a catalyst for progress within the county. Under her leadership, the department continues to enhance the security, accessibility, and long-term sustainability of Blaine County’s technological infrastructure.

Ms. Martinez has been a valued member of the Blaine County Technology Department since 2015 and was appointed Director of Technology in 2023. We are also pleased to share a personal milestone—she recently celebrated her marriage and is looking forward to a summer wedding celebration.
